Funding Options
We aim to make speech pathology services accessible for every family. Explore the funding pathways below to find the support that best fits your needs.
Medicare
Families can access rebates through the Chronic Disease Management plan. Speak with your GP to see if your child is eligible for up to five rebated sessions per calendar year.
Private Health
Most private health funds offer rebates for speech pathology. The amount varies depending on your level of cover; we recommend contacting your provider for specific details.
NDIS
We support NDIS participants who are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed. Funding can be used from the Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living category to support communication goals.
Centrelink
Families may be eligible for the Carer Allowance to assist with the costs of caring for a child with a disability or medical condition. Please visit Services Australia for more info.
